Moving a pool table

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question... I am moving a 7 ft Fischer pool table. Can this be done assembled in an enclosed trailer? Or, do I need to disassembled it before moving it?

I moved a 9ft Brunswick Wellington. I would suggest for you to take the sides off so they don't get damaged in the lifting..

The professional advice is take it apart.

Which Fischer table? The older coin op style table? Or a furniture table?

What are pinned slates?

If the slate is multiple pieces seamed together, there can sometimes be pins that slide into holes to line up the slates during assembly. If one is tearing a table down and not aware of these pins and start prying the slate pieces apart, the usual results is the slates break at the seams during this prying action.

I have no idea whether Fischer used pinned slates or not. My first guess would be they don't. It's kind of like asking if a Yugo had solid or hydraulic lifters.

Thanks for the help. I think I will disassemble it. It will have to go up a flight of stairs eventually.
