i will be moving this monday, to the hixon/ brainerd area. wheres the best place to play weekly tournys and maybe some action????????
 
Rigmaster and WalkerInTN (smart Guys here) would know the best Places as they play all weekends:wink: with MONSTER Cues:grin:

Diamonds in Hixson has one-pocket tourneys every Sunday starting at 1:00 pm, Chattanooga Billiard Club-East also has tourneys every Sunday, alternating between 8-ball and 9-ball every other weekend, and lastly, Charlie's in Soddy-Daisy has bar box 8-ball tourneys every Friday and Saturday night (play to APA handicaps). Jon Pinegar's (Hennessee) place in Manchester (about an hour away) has a big handicapped bar box 9-ball tourney the second weekend of each month. Not a lot of major action lately, but light action ($100<) can be found regularly at Diamonds or a bar called EJ's. Hope this helps you out.
 
There's also Double Hill in Hixson (only smoke free place in Chatt), CBC downtown, and also a new CBC location in Cleveland, about 40 mins away. Everything listed so far are all the best places, but there are also about 10 or so taverns sprinkled around where they have pool league activity.
