Eric, you must really be surrounded by clowns because Cypress is not close to Torrance. :wink: At least 25 minutes away. Last time I was near Hot Shots in Cypress, it looked closed down.

Granted, it was (for me, at night) about a 20 minute ride, I didn't consider that too inconvenient to drive to.

Also, SoCal seems to have the decent poolrooms spread out pretty far. Is my assessment right?

I'm actually have Filipino, but I haven't been around any Pinoy players. I've never even seen the top ones in action, since they don't seem to come to Atlanta.

Ernesto Dominguez does his tables. He just re-felted the tables with that tournament blue and it looks sweet when you walk in. The tables just jump at you.

Correction, I put the tournament blue cloth on the tables at Mr. Luckys. It's the new 860HR

It reopened earlier this year, much improved, I might add.:smile:
