mpg4 file / cut

Hi Az ers

I m "fighting" here with the cam i bought- i want to shorten mpg4 files on my computer- cut them- etc. - which program could work for me? even so i would like to add comments or drawings into the mpg4 files.

Are u on a pc or a mac?
On pc i only know of windows movie maker.
On mac you have iMovie and final cut.

I would check http://www.videohelp.com/edit. Lots of tutorials for edit all types of file.

I personally use AviDemux for my editing tasks. Takes a little getting used to, but there are good tutorials available.
