....Not Zims Rack......I just thought that you should know that even though we live on opposite sides of the country we have, I just found out, a mutual friend who is home in Albany Ny visiting family for the holidays. Frank Bess told me to say hello to you. What a small world it is. He tells me you know your way around a 3 cushion table pretty good. He has even invited me to come out there to play in some billiard tournaments. Says i can stay in his garage....lololol..................mike

Are you calling out Michael Zimmerman from Seattle (my husband) who used to give all his allowance away every week when he was a kid to learn 3C or Michael Zimmerman in Illinois that goes by Zim's Rack? Or another Mr. Zimmerman entirely?

1st off i am not calling anybody out as you put it. And yes it must be your husband who i was asked to say hi to as Frank Bess and his wife also live in the Seattle area. Just tell him that Frank said hi....................mike

Oh hey, sorry if I did not use the correct term. Is that a no-no term to mean a confrontation? I thought it just meant 'Come out, come out where ever you are', judging by its use in other threads. My humble apologies. And I guess I never read the first part of your post either, about not being Zim's Rack. Sheesh! Let's start over, ok?

I will make sure to let Mike know and tell Frank hi back from him - I am sure Mike would love to talk with him again some day. Especially if that's the guy he lost all his allowance money to! Lol.

Again, sorry, I won't use that term again. :(

Linda,

It seems from reading here for so long that there is sometimes a language barrier between parts of the country. I'm from Mike's area so what you said would have sounded the same way to me but would probably be taken differently by others.
Just thought I would throw this out there and it is actually helping me to think this way. Stops me from getting so defensive :)

Regards,
Koop

I have a REAL hard time when I am trying to have a conversation VIA IM. It drives me crazy because sometimes it is taken the wrong way, or I have a hard time expressing myself in the fashion I mean.

I guess we have a long way to go to perfect the language barriers VIA internet.

Let me apologize "rackmsuckr"

Please let me apologize. It seems that being from different areas people use diferent terms to mean different things like KOOP said. Here in my area the use of that term is a challenge, and not just for pool. I meant no disrespect in my reply to you, so please believe me when i say that i am sorry. you also read my 1st post coeerctly as i changed it after realizing that there were 2 different Zimmermans out there. So please accept my apology and like you said. lets start over..............................mike

No harm, no foul. Does that mean anything different there? <j/k> Apology accepted and glad we could work it out. Sometimes we just have to be flexible. :p
