Multiple Chinese players suspended, pending investigation

Doo we know what 'being concerned in fixing matches' means? (E.g., knowing and not reporting, or knowing in a game they won so didn't dump)
I am not a lawyer.

The term appears to be in context with what rules were broken.
In the link above, they state rule sections.
So I read it as fixing matches concerning the rules.
Which they then go into detail for.

If found guilty, I am hoping for big sentences.
I also want to know if 3rd parties were involved and if there is a bigger problem.

I'm not sure there are enough players left for it to be a bigger problem!

With so many players involved, you'd have to expect some third parties to be aware and betting. Perhaps the question is whether it was third parties or the players who were leading the thing. If the only sanctions are against players, any organized third party group will presumably be back in a couple of years...

They never show Snooker news on mainstream TV here in Australia...
But, they ran this story... real shame.

There was an interview with Jason Ferguson.
He made it clear this should be cleaned up fast.

Shaun Murphy was also on the segment..
He is pushing for mandatory life time bans for match fixing.
I tend to agree.

i don't think life time bans are possible. regarding third parties, most of the players seem to have one thing in common except for the obvious nationality aspect, and it's being part of the victoria snooker academy in sheffield. time will tell what the connections are

24th April for final outcome.

24th April came and went... no results yet.
