Murnak....at long last.

So, my Murnak case has just been delivered. I ordered it about 16 weeks ago after being told the lead time was only going to be 4 weeks.

To be totally honest with you, as soon as I pulled the case out of the box and removed all the shipping protection, it was blatently obvious why I had waited so long......

The case is a dream. Superbly crafted, great quality of workmanship and stunning to look at. All this and to think i didn't even go for any fancy tooling...just a plane jain Murnak.

Was well worth the wait and really excited to get out there and shoot some balls. This has really reignited my enthusiasm.

I agree that Murnak cases are superbly constructed and aesthetically beautiful. With props being given, and I own a Murnak case, in the concealment holster industry Jim had a terrible time coming anywhere close to his promised lead time dates. Good things are worth waiting for, but I'd like to know that a case or a holster is going to take 4 months, instead of paying up front and being promised my order in 4 weeks and not getting it. When this happened to me I seemed to have trouble getting through on the phone as well, and when I did I couldn't get an update to my ETA. I hope these problems don't get worse as Jim's poularity as a casemaker increases, and I'm sure it will because the man can work some leather ! Kudos to Jim Murnak...Tom

I am glad to hear you got your case and know first hand about the long wait, I ordered mine on July 10th and was told it would be a 4 to 6 week wait. Well, here it is November 14th and still no case, so I sure hope I can say "it was well worth the wait" when I finally do receive it. I am not bad mouthing Jim Murnak cases, just want to show off my new case to my friends.
