Hey Mike T, did you think that was Janis? Alas, I have no photographic evidence of Mike J's condition in Athens that time:p . Interestingly, the gentleman in the photo also has the initials MJ. Were you at Music City that year? Matt
I didn't think it was Janis, but I thought it might be a recreation of the first Viking event in Athens at Papa Murphy's. Mj was hilarious that next morning :D.

It was actually a buddy of mine, that basically collapsed towards the end of the music city open after that week plus the derby the week before, but it can also represent Janis's inaugural Athens trip:boring2:

It wasn't on my 1st trip to Athens. My 1st event at Poppa Murph's was in 1998. It was the very 1st tournament I ever did in the South.

The uder the table experience happened in about 2002. For some reason I don't remember the year for sure ? I just know that year was a Blurr.

I was thinking about coming but I need MJ to assure me that nobody is going to raise hell about me competing as an amateur.

Wow, this will be a tough call.........

I don't think I have ever had to rate a player that has never played before. You are always around jacking up the Auction so I guess you have a clue but really, can you play any, at all ?

I'm not even sure if you know which cue to use. A left handed or a right handed cue?

I generally use the right handed cues but if I'm on the stall then I can also use the left handed ones.
