Hi guys!

I'm still considering of letting go of some of my collections as I try to explore other hobbies. I may let go of these items by May or June; I shall keep you guys updated from time to time. For now, here's a few info regarding my collection that I will sell as a set:

HAND-CRAFTED AMBOYNA BUTTERFLY CUE by (to follow...hehe... I'll reveal the maker later on... If you look at the specs & workmanship, you'll have an idea as to whom may have made it)

BASIC SPECS (I will have to find out other details as I've already forgotten them since I just have this as part of my collection):
Total Cue Length: 59”
Cue Weight: around 17 oz (will check exact weight soon)
# of Shafts: 2pcs
Shaft Length (both): 29.5"
Ferrule: 0.75" Ivorine III
Shaft Diameter: 12.75mm
Taper: (to follow)
Shaft Weights: (to follow)
Balance Points: (to follow)
Joint Type: flat-faced, wood to wood
Joint Pin: 3/8x11 brass
Joint Rings: (to follow)
Forearm: Curly Maple
Points: Amboyna
Veneers: (to follow)
Butterfly Points: Amboyna
Wrap: Irish Linen, brown-white specs
Butt sleeve: "crazy burl" maple
Butt Cap: (to follow)
EXTRAS: Amboyna joint protectors
Condition: Pristine/brand new; 1 shaft is used for test-hits; no dings; all roll straight together & apart

Other Notes: I may have to check if weight bolt can be added

For me, the cue plays very neutral; hence, it's very easy to play with. The balance is great and it has the characteristics of the high quality workmanship that the cue maker used be part of.

CUSTOM 3x4 BLUE-BLACK WAVE CASE by John Barton

To learn more about the specs of JB Cases, check out:
http://www.jbcases.com/ordering.html

This case was a special request from JB which I got in January 2009. I believe he hasn't released a Wave Case from his line nor from Sterling that has this kind of fabric and color as well. I guess this can be considered as “one of its kind”

SPECS
Condition: like new
Exterior Fabric: blue & black
Padded Back Straps: 2, adjustable, removable
Blue-black padded side handle
Capacity: 3butts x 4 shafts or 2butts x 5 shafts
Interior: ULTRAPAD (check out the site for full details)
Pockets: 2 (Jump Cue can be placed in the 2nd pocket since it's very roomy)

Other Notes:
*I tested wetting the exterior pockets' fabric just to see if water would seep through. Although the fabric absorbed water, it didn't seep through the interior side of the pocket. Hence, I'd say that this case is water-resistant. Submerging the entire case is a different story

*If you'll take a look at the top lid, you'll notice that when you're closing the zipper, the interior's padded protrusions also close hence making the interior more sealed against temperature change & moisture. This is the 1st time I've seen such added protection compared to other zippered-top cases

A closer look at the fabric's weave (sorry, don't mind the Via patch):

PRAY that I may get generous and I may have to chip in this one as FREEBIE:

(As an option, we can have a break shaft made for little extra price since this cue is light enough, around 17 oz w/ the orig shaft, to be a break cue)

BASIC SPECS:
Forearm & Butt sleeve: Curly Maple
Joint Pin: 5/16x14, SS
Joint type: Flat-face, wood to wood
Joint Collar: stainless steel
Wrap: Irish Linen, white-black specs

THE ENTIRE SET

I'll try to get better pics since the settings seem to be too "bright" that the curly maple's accents can no longer be seen

Thanks for looking!
