My 2 cents

I own a few cues, ten of which were made by Chuck Starkey.
Each piece is one of one, with bragging rights attached.
His inovations and creativity are brilliant, and seem endless.
It's too bad he started making them at age SIXTY !
My latest, the " Boo Cue " (designed and fabricated from bamboo)
might very well be in the monster category.
Add to all of the above, his business ethics are as good as you will find anywhere.
It's a privelege to know him and own his artwork!

I second that!

I don't have 10 of Chucks cues but I agree with your sentiments. If there is a better guy to deal with across the board, I have yet to come across him. I bought a cue from Chuck before he started the ferruless cues and the wood pins. I will try 1 if I ever get the cash. I have told this story before but its worth repeating i think.

The cue I bought from Chuck was off of the bay because I had not even heard of AZ at that time, so I never talked to Chuck I just bid and won a great looking and hitting cue.

I had the cue for a # of years and Chuck and his cues were getting some pretty good rep and I realized the ID sticker was coming off.

I emailed Chuck and he responded by saying it probably could use a good cleaning by now anyway - so send it to me and I'll take care of it for you. I figured it was probaly gonna cost 20 maybe 25 bucks but it would be worth it, if I ever wanted to sell it or one day my grandson might have something special and he could prove it was indeed a "Starkey".

He sends it back very quickly looking and feeling like a brand new cue
with his logo perfectly in place.

A nice note and NO Charge! He said I appreciate your business!

I reccomend him to everyone!
