I know i promised the wife not to buy anything before the mariage was fully payed but i instantly fell in love with it when i saw it, and i had JUST enough $ left on paypall to pay for it, so this is my last buy till the mariage this summer. my new favorit piece :D

from 1890, the silver hallmarks confirm it (1989). LOVE IT !! :D

Those are beautiful, I was looking at the Tiffany one and thought how easy it is to be stolen and decided against it. Congratulations on a great find

My ex-gf gave me the tiffany one....I never use it though cos I'm afraid someone will steal it, I will forget it (most likely), and it's real hard to chalk cos the exposed part of the chalk is too small. It'll prolly scratch the ferrule.

Does it look like this? I got this picture from a google search, since Tiffany says they don't have any?

Yes it does, I'm sure you can still buy it from Tiffany's though, maybe a little over 200 for one. Problem is, if you put in a Masters chalk, it's a tight squeeze and it doesn't look that good with the red amongst the silver....only black would look good, but who the heck makes chalk covered in black paper.
