My 9 ball run

to be honest, when I was watching that I was thinking why the hell did you shoot the 6 like that, unnecessary  .... then upon further inspection I see you jumped the 6 just enough to clear the edge of that 7 then I was like :grin::D:grin::grin:;)

Please tell more about the glasses you are wearing in the video. I'm thinking of getting some "billiard glasses" out of Canada. Are these made there?

Very nice out...crazy shot on the 6!

Great to have that shot on video especially since you finished the out. I agree on the girl at the end of the video. Wish we had pretty girls like that watching pool in the room I play out of.

Only ever seen such an impressive televised jump shot in an exhibition match.

Never in a competition.

Really hat off to you. ...Also impressed at your humble reaction to your own shot. Plenty of people would be doing whoops around the table at the point. You were very Efren about it though.

Not only a great shot but how about the shape on the 7 ball! Good shooting
Madfox.

I am also interested in your glasses. Also, what type of tip and hardness do you use. I am planning on changing my tip and would like to find out more about what the pros are using.

Eh? I was highly surprised by his reaction at making that shot - something I've never seen after a 6 ball. In fact, I wouldn't have been very happy if I were his opponent...

Congratulations on a nice run, very nice indeed. Thanks for posting. Looks like you Romanians take pool very seriously.

I agree. Nice cue ball control, and excellent recovery on the 6-ball during that one time where the cue ball didn't quite go where he needed it.

Not only did Iulian play well, but the production seems very professional -- kudos to the camera crew!

well done Iulian.....I might not make it there to visit your hall after all now that our company is selling our Romanian operations to another company :(

You have to
understand I have been around pool 13 years now. In the last years I have been strugling with my game, mostly organizing events, trying to keep the pool around here alive with the blog, forum. I helped with the rebirth of the federation and last year was the first one with national championships after 7 years. All this in my spear time, after work and lots of time away from my family. All this be cause I love the game so much and I also love to play. I have my own goals for my game. It was my first single match on camera and I had a terrible month before cause I lost my father in december.
I did that shot many times in the past , but I also missed many times. It is not that easy especially to hold position for the next ball. We are trying to play well,to make a good image for pool. It was only the third live on a national tv hope to get more awerness for this great sport, sometimes played by beautifull people :)
Of course I had the option to play safe but I felt I had to do it. For me it was a breaktrough, a soul release to feel the pure energy of pool. I believe pool has to be played this way, nobody wants to see a boring same shots all the time. So my reaction was that, more for myself than for the others

Not sure about that. I'll tell you after 01/01/2014, when our glorious unelected leaders in the EU will give all Romanians the chance to settle in the UK - Bulgarians, too.

Hurray for the EU!

Hmmm, seems like rasism here Mr :) I have sad news for you, romanians and bulgarians and chinese and .... are already settled in UK and all around the world. I don't deny there are bad people amoung them but that is that. I didn't saw anyone chasing brits after the Heysel tragedy for example.

And I was thinking to come for the GB Tour :D

About the glasses they are made here in Bucharest. They are from plastic more light not like glass.
I found in a regular shop eyeglassframes that don't have the lens incorporated they are attached on the lens. When they receive the lens in raw form they are big, so he just rounded the corners and then attached the frames. I paid 60 bucks

I hope this makes sense

Go for it! But you'll need to tighten-up first, as the tables are absolutely brutal. And it is far from cheap...

As far as immigration goes, it is the EU that many in Britain are pissed off with, especially with the feeling that we cannot control our own borders. Romania and Bulgaria are one wave too many, I fear - I can often shop in the supermarket down the road without hearing a single British accent. That balance is waaay out of kilter and there's NOTHING we can do about it. Leaving the EU is the only way we can exercise any border control at all. Obviously, the spin-meisters are telling us only relatively small numbers will come from Romania and Bulgaria (20-30,000), but this is utter bullshit. They said the same about Poland and a million came!

After Heysel, all English clubs were banned from Europe for 5 years, at a time when we were dominating the game. It led to much soul-searching and fundamental changes within our society. The phenomenon of the English football hooligan effectively died. Harsh punishments are levers for change, and sometimes they're fair.

Yeah we have a club here with Dynamic III so small pockets. Not many chances for me to come, too much money involved :)
I know clubs where banned , I was talking about normal people.
About the imigrants of course I understand your feelings. That is the EU, a big something together :)
