My '93 Prather

Hi All,

This is my first post and first thing I wanted to say is what a great forum.

After about 15-years of not playing due to my focus on my career, I am finally in a position where my table is being set up in the games room as we speak.

Over the weekend I decided to dust off the old cues and couldn't believe that they looked and felt still brand new. So then I became curious on what my Prather may be worth and if I should just put it back in the case and play with the McDermott.

Let me know what you guys think, thanks again for all the great info.

Ric

I feel the same way, just need to make sure the 5-year old boy doesn't get a hold of it to beat off his 3-year old sister...

I just recieved this response today from Prather Cue's, it's some what interesting....

Ric,

The cue is unusual because the signature is up-side-down. I always sign cues
in the other direction. The cue back in 1993 probably sold for approx. $1,000.00,
and today would retail for approx. $1,500 to $1,700.
