No but not typical chalk, Magik Chalk. Dr. Dave rated it at 29+ hits without a miscue. It was $10 for 2, shipped. I have one more at home, I just bought them and it's the principal is all.
That’s just funny.

Agree, it is funny. Some newbie above just gender-corrected me. Wonder if he plays pool at all.
All the best,

In regards to your 2nd piece of Magic chalk, not the one that got wet which I hope you've tossed, I'll give you a little advice on how to get as much as you can out of your cube, which has worked well for me, which allows you to get the most out of your $5 investment.I was playing at friends in their basement and stepped outside to use the 'outside bathroom' and dropped my pocket chalk in a puddle of water. It was sitting for like 10 min before I found it. Can I bake it for awhile to pull the water from it?

This reminds me of Allen Iverson's "We're talkin' practice". "We're talkin' chalk here". Seriously, its a piece of $5 pool chalk. Gonna need to need to get over this bud.

After you've worn it down pretty good to where the corners are high with a cavity in the middle, and the top of the paper is wearing out, take a razor blade and trim off the top 1/3 to 1/2 of the paper around the 4 sides. Then, holding your chalk in your hand upside down, rub it a few times (not too much) across 80 grit sandpaper.
You'll then have like a new piece of chalk, but only 1/2 to 2/3 as tall as a new one! You can probably repeat this process again a second time, after it wears down again!
I guess you could try sanding off the top before trimming the paper wrapping around the chalk, but it just seems neater for me to do it this way. I'll try it without trimming the paper first next time. Why the step involving the razor?
