My wife and I are celebrating 40 years of marriage and are leaving Alaska for a trip down the west side of the Rockies and back up the east side then over to Michigan to see a friend who got me back into pool after a 40 year lay off. We will be living in our 30' Raptor Toy Hauler for close to 3 months.
My friend is a good pool player, better then me and he comes from a pool shooting family, brothers, Dad, uncles, cousins, etc. They all shoot in weekly 8 and 9 Ball leagues. He left Alaska 3 years ago and we plan on getting some table time in.
I will try to play some on the trip and will be checking the Yellow Pages for pool halls if we stay some place for awhile. When in Iowa I will try to stop in and meet cue maker Pat Diviney and discuss a cue project with him.
