No wood screws and no plastic there..

Can't seem to understand the bit about the wood screw, because the feet construction seems pretty solid to me. But from the looks of it and pointing to the comment Mr. Glenn mentioned, that their are no plastic apron and that it's shallower than the GC1, I must have a GC2! If I could restore it...Mr. Glenn or PTM, would either of you know where I could get some reasonably priced counter tallys for my GC?? Any billiard parlors burn down lately?? OK, bad joke, I know alot of my buddies would be homeless if that happened here.

The wood screw held the plug in that the foot sits in. There is a hole drilled in the rim of the plug that the wood screw holds it in place. If that makes sense lol. I will try and find one and take a pic.

www.cpdean.com may have them

Thankyou both, I'm looking into cpdean and have sent them an e-mail. Awaiting reply.
PTM, maybe you can send me pictures of a GC1 and a GC2 that would show the relative difference between the two. However, if thats any work at all forget it, your not getting paid for this and I don't want to be a pain in the A.. But if you decide to take a trip to Europe, Me Case, es su Case! And you can play pool here too!

As far as getting paid....make the check out to....I enjoy This! lol!
I never claimed to know everything, but I will share what I do know on here. It is fun talkin pool and hopefully helping anybody. I wish others felt this way, rather than thinking they are the only ones that know anything..........and wouldn't tell you squat! lol! Keep askin and I keep tellin!

PTm, GC 1's had non-adjusteable legs and aluminum corners while the II's had adjusteable legs and pot metal corners, right?
GC I's also had deeper slates I am told.

Thanks JC,
If what you're saying is true, then 2.54 cm is an inch and my slate has exactly 3 cm, the corners are made of cast metal and has adjustable legs. Still waiting for a reply from cpdean, Mr Glenn.
Those pictures PTM, would reinforce my belief.
This is a fantastic Forum, you guys are great!!!!

If I sell this girl to that jerk for 500 bucks he probably wouldn't take care of it, and ruin it eventually or he's just trying to screw me! If I were back in California, I know I could fix her up, but this is not possible.

Hi Skip,

Did you really think that I was trying to screw you ? my goodness !!! I gave you a fair comment in saying that in Ebay Billard tables were sold for around 500Euros (600$). Yes I did offer you that much and I thought it was a fair price given the amount of restoration work needed. You understand that services are very expensive in Germany and it would have cost around 600Euros to 1000Euros to get it fixed.

Anyways, no hard feelings, I am no jerk and I was open to your counter offer. I have seen that you have sold it at Ebay and am glad for you.

Saying that, I heard that you bought a billiard table from AC Billiards. Am I right ? I would be more than happy if you share your experience with me, i.e. worth the investement, quality etc etc...

greetings,

Colin
