While Danny DiLiberto was visiting 3 weeks ago, he graciously allowed me to test drive his Bludworth cue. I have never played with anything except a Southwest and the Predator sneaky pete that I replaced it with (obviously I am no cue expert). The Southwest was okay, but the Predator just seems very consistent, and I like the inch longer shaft on the Predator. I was totally unprepared for the Bludworth "experience".
The shaft was obviously a little thinner than my Predator, and it had an EXTREMELY solid hit compared to my Predator. I applied every possible variation of inside and outside English (both very hard and very soft) on all of the standard shots I use to practice English, and I could not tell any difference in deflection between it and the Predator - I did not have to make any adjustments at all. The "slow rollers" that Danny D. is so fond of just seemed MUCH easier with the Bludworth. Good work Blud!! (now I just have to find one of those Balabushka's to test - but so far you are in first place).
