Heres my cue case holder that I made out of my porper portable cue rack, leather straps and velcro. No more of my case and cues getting knocked over. Let me know what you guys out there think out there.

Looks very cool! Did you put the opposing piece of velcro on the side of your instroke to attach to the center next to the clamp? Have you done any "testing" to see how much force it takes to break the velcro bond and thus still knock the case over with it being hit and/or kicked in various locations? Very neat idea though!!

I used glue and screws to hold the straps on. I used industrial stregth velcro. That piece of velcro you see is to cover up the screws (no velcro on my case). Its really sturdy and very stable. It would take alot of force to knock it over. The cool thing bout it is that it can be clamped to a chair or a table.

Does that screw in thing damage the wood and stuff it is clamped too?

I ordered a case clamp from CaseClamp.com. I love the product, except they do not respond to customer problems via email very promptly (still waiting to hear from them after 10 days). Hopefully they will contact me soon to get things straightened out. Like I said, it is a great product.

Not to knock what you've done, but there's a company been selling something similar for a few years now called the Case Clamp.

I'd have to say that after looking at both products, I'd much rather have bnall's product than the case clamp.

I don't like how the case clamp makes the case stick out at least a couple of inches from the surface that it's clamped to. I do like the fact that even someone without much grip strength can still get a very solid connection without undue stress.

Congrats bnall, it looks like a good product.

The clamp is has rubber grips on the inside so it doesnt damage what it is screwed on too.

Actually that one has a metal screw with no pad to protect what you are attaching it to, if I'm not mistaken.

That's why I like bnalls better. His looks like it would be easier on the case and the furniture.:) Maybe if there's no patent infringement??

What I think is I would buy one :D
One of the rooms I go to has round smooth legs(1" - 1 1/2" diameter) on the tables and chairs, have you tried it on round legs?

George

I have tried it on round legs, square legs, all types of table and chairs. The rubber grips on the inside of the clamps really grips well. I basically just made this one up for myself. I didnt like the other ones I have seen out there but if anyone interested bout getting one of these just pm me.

Thanks Bryan
