i finally remembered to take a picture of my playing cue (my pride and joy)... ignore the extremely ugly carpet in the background... its my carpet at work... but this is my custom Rick Howard cue... it plays GREAT and i have absolutely nothing bad to say about it... this is a jump break cue/player cue that i use as my everyday player... it has the big "southwest style" pin in it that comes with all of Ricks custom cues... i designed the cue myself.. enjoy everyone...

thanks... there is alot of stuff that my "camera" wont pick up (alot of fancy ring work and the sharpness of the points and things like that) but i couldnt be happier with how the cue turned out...
 
yes... this is a custom made Rick howard... and for me to tell you he is a perfectionist would be an understatement... it took him 9 month to finish this cue because everything wasnt "exactly right" according to him... he really takes alot of pride in his work and for obvious reasons... i have played with several different cues (both custom and production) and believe me when i tell you that this is the best cue ive ever played with... of course thats all a matter of personal preference... but i absolutely love this cue...

put it to you this way... the weekend i got the cue i was at a tournament in Slydell and someone offered me 3000 for the cue (i only paid 1200 for it after alot of bargaining with Rick) and i turned them down... thats why i had another EXACTLY like it made (but its a little higher price because of the discount i recieved on "my cue") just for that purpose... i am always getting offers for the cue and dont want to get rid of it... so i did the next best thing...
 
I've owned few Rick Howard cue and his cue play very well and reasonably priced.

Your cue is definitely the wildest design I've seen from him.

well... thats because he didnt come up with the design... i designed it myself... he just did the easy part and built it... :)
