Hi guys,
After I sold everything I had 2 years ago, I decided to invest in players not closet queens.
This is what I have right now and I am very proud of every acquisition I made. Cheap is not always low quality.
They're all amazing players!

I'll probably add a few more to this humble collection...not so soon, tho:)

If you like it, feel free to show us yours. BUT ONLY PLAYERS, please!!! I don't care about perfect wood, but perfect hit.

Thanks and enjoy.

Chris

nice cues.

Can you list these out? First two are mcdermotts, does the second one have the 3/8x10 or quick release pin? Very nice cues indeed. I will post some of mine below when I get a picture of them all. I have two setups. One for 8 ball and one for 9 ball.

Thanks Bus. That cue has an amazing story and I was fortunate enough to have it...back.

The leather wrap, on the amboyna Campos cue, is the original and tells me it has gotten plenty of use. That makes me happy. That being said, it's about due for a new one:wink: That cue was my personal player for a while. I originally fitted it with an OB1 shaft. I hope it plays well for you.

The cocobolo cue on the bottom is my new player
This cue was a closet queen like the other two, but I happened to have it with me last week, decided to try it, and I shot a perfect 50 in VNEA.
Original tips, probably Triangle, yellow micarta ferrules, smooth leather wrap

these are my shooters.

These are my current shooters. From left to right or bottom to top depending on the picture:

Pat diveney
McDermott COTY 2011
McDermott M33A with leather wrap
Custom McDermott modeled after M33A with leather wrap
McDermott M33A with linen wrap

I shoot weekly with the M33A with the linen wrap. With an I3 shaft this is the best shooting cue I have ever shot with and I have tried most production cues and a few customs as well. The Pat Diveney is a close second using a lake wood shaft. The COTY was my shooting cue before that.

I had a lot of McD cues. Very well built cues, man. I love the M33A I had one, not long ago.
Beautiful cues. Enjoy them.

Thanks for posting
