My Dishaw Cue

Thats one of Dan's earlier cues, you can tell by the 'Danbuilt' on the buttcap instead of the usual 'Dishaw'.

Yeah, the cue was originally made for a player in Syracuse, NY in 1993. It was one of the first 12 cues Dan made. The original owner sold it in early '95 after being knocked out of the NYS 9 Ball Championships. I bought it from the second owner a few months later. I've had it ever since. I had Dan make me two new shafts because the second owner, to quote Dan, "butchered the originals". Dan has offered documentation, should I ever think seriously of selling it. He's tried to buy it back from me himself two or three times.

I can imagine Dan offering to buy it back, especially now that hes an accomplished cue maker, and also cuz 'Danbuilt' is no longer being used on his cues, its definitely worth more.

Nice cue! I just (1 hour ago) received my new (barely used) Dan Dishaw cue.

Haven't had a chance to hit with it yet, I have to wait another 8 hours until after work!!!

It's beautiful, but I am a little disappointed with the finish in a couple of spots. Particularly along the line between the wrap and the forearm. It has lifted up, so it's white there.
