I finally figured out how to do it. I can finally upload pics to this cpu, but it makes it hard. anyway...here are pics of my dz cue I ordered late 05'. give me any opinions you have.

Great cue

Hi,
Very nice cue.I am waiting for my Hoppe Gilbert to be finished very soon also.BTW is the joint piloted?How much did you pay for it?Very beautiful cue.

the joint is his normal 3/8x10 pin flat faced, and let's just say I paid more for this cue than ANY other cue I ever ordered from Bob. I wonder if HE knows that? oh well...it's pretty nice.:rolleyes:

I'd like to say thank you for the kind words expressed about my dz cue. imo...it does play great w/ the talisman hard tip. not too hard, and definitely not soft and mushy.

ok Jimbo....I see where you are coming from here. I HAVE said and done some things I REALLY regret now, but live and learn. I'm a clown? anyone want a "balloon pool cue today?" huh, huh, can I do one please? haha you amuse me Jimbo. before this would've just irritated me, but all that is behind me. maybe you could go through what I have and still kinda do, then you'd lighten up a little...not that I wish that on ANYONE. just try taking things with a grain of salt Jimbo, and things WILL get better
 
Duke, that really is a nice cue. I was wondering something, does DZ not like ringwork? Most of the cues I have seen from him have solid black collars. Thanks

honestly...I can't tell ya. he doesn't use alot of rings, does he? I guess he doesn't want to take away from the natural beauty of the cue. I know he usually DOES use black collars, but I don't know why.
 
Nice cue but I would have preferred no C ring.

Love the cue! The more I see of his work, the more impressed I get. As for the rings, my DZ has just basic brass rings above the wrap, and brass rings with vertical segments on each end of the butt section. Very minimalist too.

thanks deadstroke! I know we have had a difference of opinions in the past, but that is just that...the past. I'd like ANY comments, even if someone don't like it. I'd just shrug it off anymore. I don't want to make outlandish comments and say it'll be my last cue because you and I both know it's not, but it'll be around a long time...I WILL say that. it plays as well as it looks. anyways...thanks for the good comments guys! I'm sure Bob will appreciate them about his work if he reads this.

don't matter to me...it's not my cpu. haha mine would do anything I wanted it to.
