My Empire

Update

Okay, I was a little to fast out of the gate and I "LEARNED" to slow down...

I've started reading the Blue Book and studying it along with the buy/sale forum to see how certain cues are in the current market...

I DECIDED TO BUY WHAT "I" LIKE BUT BE SMART ABOUT IT!!! EDUCATE MYSELF, DON'T LET THE SELLER EDUCATE ME...

So it's now been almost 2 months and I've decided to start buying what I like and hope I don't lose my ass on many of them along the way...

Some cue makers I like in no certain order -- Manzino, Hercek, Haley, Bill Webb Butterflies, BlackBoar, Showman...... and a lot of others...

I just can't see giving over $3,000 for anything over the internet till I meet some of the cue makers, dealers, and collectors in person and get to know them some...

So for my first cue I bought a simple 4 point 4 veneer Mottey player and I love everything about it... It plays great and it has this old school classic look to it...

For my 2nd cue I will be designing it with Mr. Haley... I'm VERY excited about this... It will be my first ever build!!!

I have also picked up a few more Haley spots and a Hercek spot along the way and I might have a good connection on a Showman and a SouthWest when I decide I would like one...

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP AND ADVICE SOME OF YA'LL HAVE GIVEN ME!!!

Wow--you can't go wrong with any of those IMHO! Excellent choices and it seems like you are going at it the right way.
