You're right about the Fury, Nat. If you stay center ball with it, it does a great job, and is probably one of the best values out there, with great looks to boot. I'm gonna try scoring the tip on it with my dremel, if it works, I'll pass it on to my son or keep it as a spare.

I will not say a bad word about the Fury Nat., if you are not gonna spend $300 or more, the Fury is the best out there, hands down. The Varney comes at a price, and a wait, but will definitely outperfom it, and most others with half the effort. i am writing this after having owned one for a few months...and being challenged to try several others for comparison. I still have my Fury and will never part with it. I currently own 9 cues and some aftermarket shafts...they have all served me well, and I will never sell them... I've bought smart...and haven't found a DOG yet!!! :)...ok cept the Predator Air...if anyone would like to make me a offer...:(
