My first Barry Szamboti

I just got a Barry and its my all time favorite cue and I like the feel it alot, i've only played twice with it, but I know at the end of the day that will be my favorite. I'm going to keep it in LA the dry air here is hell on cues. Thats why since they are made here a SW is my Vegas cue, one thing I noticed it isnt hard to adjust between them. Ant the Barry and Gus cues will live in LA. I have a sugartree for a travelling cue.

My colleagues and I have several practice games tonight cause our company have a billiards game recently.I find the reason why I still can't adapt to my Barry.I'm used to Morri H tip and I adjust my new tips(make it more harder) on barry shaft. Fewer loss happened at last two game. I love the feeling of Barry more than SW when I play cause it can give more difference that SW can't do. SW have "Stability" charactor more than Barry when I play. I'll use SW cue when I in the game but I take Barry to play when I practice with my friends.:)

Congrats on your acquisition!! And yes, Barry is a stand-out person in the world we live in. And any other world for that matter!

I'm privileged to own one of his cues. I'll never want another!

i adjust quickly to different cues-if I like them, some cues I couldnt ever play with period. I can tell in 5 minutes if the cue will work and within an hour I'm adjusted, it took me along time to be able to adjust like this, one thing that helps is dont compair the 2 cues, just only think of the cue your using at that time. When you think "well if i was using my SW i would...." you'll be all over the place if you think that when playing with your Barry, you have to train your mind to think like this "Ok I like this cue, it works for me now how do i need to hit the CB to make this happen....." no other thoughts in your head PERIOD!!!!, you can only use one cue at a time so wrap your mind around that cue and nothing else, if your using one cue and thinking of another forget it, you'll never be able to play with it, Ask your self "Do i even like it" I have a few cues that in a million years I couldnt play with, like I said I knew that very quickly.
