My first cloth replacement

Well here is my first time ever "working" on a table. I decided to replace the cloth with Velocity Pro. The bed is very tight and plays much better than the old, worn out Mali. By the time I got to the last rail I was figuring out how to eliminate the waves very easily.

All in all I am very pleased.

Dab a little black paint or marker on those nail heads in the pockets.

You forgot the spot! table looks great. nice job!
noticed couple boxes of silver cup chalk in the corner.
are you gonna use blue or camel colored chalk?

I added the spot later. I will be using Camel colored chaulk but I have not found anything other than Master that I like so I am in the process of getting brown Master.


I played on it today and I have a few waves in the bed cloth but they are very close to the head end so they have not affected in shots yet. I stretched the heck out of it. It looks good and my wife even says it plays very fast now.

I am pleased at this point. I really wish she would have settled for blue though since I really like the tourney blue colors.

Do any billiards clubs or halls restrict what color of chaulk you use. I hate to use blue outside home and camel in house.
