My first cue.. has arrived

I know it sounds lame and stupid but I just want to inform that after a couple of months of reading, searching, lurking and asking here in the forum I finally bought my first decent cue stick.

I bought a Predator 5k1 and payed almost 60% less then the italian price buying it online in the states.

I've just tried it for some minutes and it feels really good.. I'll have to adjust to the 314-2 but everything seems to work good.

Hope to improve a little bit with the attention I will put in my next hours of practice.

..and of course I want to thank you az forum people.
 
Congrats! I still remember purchasing my first cue. It was a Huebler sneaky pete that I ordered from Paul himself. I was like a kid at Christmas.

I hope it helps your game and confidence. There's nothing like shooting with a cue you feel connected with.

My first custom cue was slated for delivery in december 07, and while I should be getting it in the next week or so, the anticipation is KILLING ME!!!

My first custom I ordered in March of 06 and I'm still waiting. My second custom will probably be finished before my first.
 
my first was a meucci. i was so proud it should've had it's own shrine, and be buried in a tomb. it was the second thing i ever bought for hard earned money myself.

I've been fully paid since December :(
 
My first

I bought my first real cue in 1990, It was a meucci 84-4. I was so happy and it built my confidence too. My game improve rapidly after I got it. Hope your cue does the same.:)
