hello evryone,well this saturday we had what the a.p.a 8 ball league calls the top gun tourney at fast eddies, the way it goes i think they pick 2 team members from each team and u pay $15 to get in i thought this would help with my nerves and it sure did, there was a ton of peop there ! i am ranked a 5 so i played with fives my first round was a race to 4 wit a woman that i barely beat 4/3the weird thing was i made 3 of my 8 balls in the same corner pocket lol,then round 2 was a guy who kept talking and talking and telling me i should do this and that , he seemed to kno alot but i think he was trying to get in my head ,and wen he moved the cue ball with his cue he turned to me and sed "did u see that?" i sed yes and thats cue ball in hand not on other balls but only on cue ball and he sed no its not , i would of protested the shot but i looked at my balls and i had no shot so i sed go ahead i ended up winning that game but lost to this guy 3/4 i think his mind games worked .the 3rd round i beat the guy 4/0 i was happy but apprehensive ,then i ran into a roadblock im not sure what her name was but she was short and cute and never missed anything , i asked her how many hours do u practice?she sed i dont i play in 3 tournys a week ,wow i sed im dead first game she ran out second same third game she missed and i cant bielieve but i ran out ! and i sed hey i can do this ,then she scratched and i won again then i won again so now its 3/3 race to 4 so now shes a little upset im not cuz i didnt get beat up she looks pissed and she starts her defense i gave her ball in hand 3 times and she gave me ball in hand 3 times through out the whole thing finally i had the 8 the only shot was a safe or go for the cheese wich was a cross side bank i went fior the bank it bobblled in the pocket i missedd but i but got a gasp out of the crowd lol ! she wins ,wow it was awesome ! one thing i did learn stay away from the talkers ,and my nerves they are not bothering me as much anymore ,i want to thank all u guys for ure positive input . oh and this site too !
