My Gandy restoration

I forgot that I had this picture of the table before I did my restoration. This is a coral snake I found in my shop one morning. Yes they are poisonous. I put him on the table to photograph because his colors contrasted nicely against the cloth. I released him back into the wild. Can't see a good reason to kill it. They are pretty snakes.

Remember...Red and black, friend of Jack. Red and yellow, kills a fellow!

i was in the reptile biz years back. "if yellow touches red, your dead" and that little guy right there is the real deal. I never had any of the "hot" or poison stuff, except a couple rattlers we caught and released.

Good on you Fatboy for releasing them. Whether people realize it or not, snakes are necessary and good for the environment!

CF looks cool!

Great Job! I really like the CF...I might have to give that a try.

That's awesome. I've been into reptiles since I could walk. I caught my first rattle snake when I was like 7 or 8. My parents were not amused. I caught a cotton mouth and had it for a pet for a short time. My parents thought it was a really mean bullsnake. They sure were pissed when they figured out what it was.

The first snake I caught was a 5' Florida Pine snake on the golf course. He's the one that started my fascination with them. He was so gentle I children could handle him. I use to take him for walks in the yard and he would follow me everywhere. I sure do miss him the most.

Very nice! You did a great job on the table. I like the carbon fiber look.
