Here are photo's of my newly installed Goldcrown 1 and the light fixture I made in my workshop. I shimmed the pockets to 4.5 inches and used Simonis 860 tournament blue cloth. My light has two, 8 foot tandem fixtures using eight T-8 bulbs. I made my fixture in a style that's a cross between the old and the new Diamond light. It's 8' long and 30" wide and 5.5 inches deep. I used the reflective chrome lenses with the honeycomb design. I tried using the daybright bulbs for a few days and they gave me headaches so I changed them to cool white bulbs and I'm very pleased with the results. The light illuminates the table perfectly with no shadows. Now if only the local pool halls would let me tweak their lights.
