My home room is finally done!

I already posted this in the "show us your home rooms" thread, but I am proud of what I have, so am starting my own thread LOL.

It's been a long road, and after 9 years of active duty army, and lots of moving, and temporary living spaces, I finally have my home room put together and the way that I want it (mostly anyway... next year I will be tearing the rails apart and recutting pocket angles, tightening them up to 4 3/8"). But for now, I am totally happy!

Congratulations....That's a great room. Hopefully you can enjoy it for years to come.

BTW-Thank you for your service to our country. We all tend to take for granted all the freedoms we have in this great country...freedoms that are protected by our military. I wish you the best of rolls in your new pool room.
 
Looks real nice. That Championship cloth has really grown on me. I don't think most players can tell the difference between it and Simonis.

It's nice to know I'm not the only guy tripping over all the kid’s toys while I'm trying to play. Yesterday the little one was riding her turtle thingy around the table as I was practicing. Of course she had to go through my legs every time she went around. Didn't shark me at all. I think I'm ready to go play in the Philippines.

lol I def feel you there. My daughter is 20 months, and her favorite game is to chase me around the table while I play, and steal all the chalk off the rails!
 
from one vet to another; congrats !!!! looks great. Funny my grandaughter is 2 1/2 and she loves to run around the table also. I got one of those small cues from sports authority so he can hit a couple balls with it and she looked at it then the tip then said "chalk" !! She wouldn't hit with it until I applied the chalk and oh by the way; i just wiped it on and she took if off the rail and proceed to chalk the thing the right way ! yes it was a proud moment ! :)
 
Nice looking space. I'd just about (insert phrase here, kill, left nut...) for a room like that.
Needs a scantily clad woman serving beer, but other than that....

My wife will walk around as scantilly as I would like her too :D

but instead, I am putting a kegerator in the unfinished half of the basement (right behind the Rat Pack picture) and there will be a tap on the wall between the two pictures on that wall.

Cold beer on demand :D

Now the real question is... do I put in man beer for me, or sissy beer for my friends? lol

That is very NICE!!! But if you are anything like me you will be upgrading the Table to a DIAMOND..

I haven't had much chance to play the drums as of yet, as I have been getting the room put together, but it will again get use shortly :D

and I'm not sure what red convertible you are referring to...?

Dude, it's your room - Put in the man beer. Your friends can bring their own beer with fruit if they want.

That is what I was thinking too. Being that it is springtime... I think the first keg is going to be Sierra Nevade Southern Hemisphere Harvest IPA
 
My friends and I would soon come up with a rule regarding the Barbie push car toy you have in the picture. If you lose 3 games in a row you have to sit in it when you aren't at the table ... something along those lines. :)
