i have a 9' diamond pro with 860 in my non insulated garage and i can not get it to play right.this is my third table out there and they all seem to play like crap.i have a 2 ton mini split ac unit that i will run a few hours in advance to try and get it good in there but it still doesnt seem to work.the balls seem to skid a lot and i notice chalk marks on the cue ball and they come back quick after cleaning.i also notice chalk "sprayed" for lack of a better term on the cloth when i contact the ball.i am in south louisiana so i know the humidity is a huge factor but it doesnt matter what the weather is like outside or how long the ac runs i still can not acheive desired results.i have tried keeping the chalk inside and even warming it in the microwave to get rid of some of the dampness incase that was it.any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Where exactly in Louisiana are you? I live in La also. Just a bit north of Lafayette. I had a simliar problem and my table is inside my house. I recently recovered the table with a different type/brand of cloth and since I changed colors of clothe, I couldn't use the same brand name of chalk anymore. I don't have the problem anymore. I never really had a bad problem with the cue ball though. I was using the Championship tour edition clothe and the balls did have speed to them, but I took off that clothe and replaced it with basically the same type of clothe used at most of the establishments around here so i don't have to make as big a adjustment when I'm not playing at home.

Put some Simonis 860HR on your table, it'll be fine;)
