How do you think the Skip compares to the zylr playablity wise? What do you think of the Skip in general?

I am thoroughly impressed with Mr. Weston's work. This cue (and the shafts) is the straightest one I have ever seen. His veneer work is UNSURPASSED and as far as I can tell, flawless. You can tell that he absolutely strives for perfection. Kerry's cues play fantastic with a very solid, stiff feel to them, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants a cue that just feels like it wants to play. However, I like this cue better than the last Z I had. It's hard to describe.......the cue just immediately felt great in my hands, I ran about fifty balls. Very lively with great feedback, just stiff enough. It's a great cue, and as long as it doesn't get stolen, my search is over.

I have a flatface ivory jointed one that I own and another on the way. Skip's work is phenomonal. Good stuff. Those veneers are very nice.
Glad to hear that you're happy with your cue! I think Skip's work is incredible as well and hope to see him get more and more popular!
