My Jack Justis Case

Mike/John,
Stay in character. Your letting your dark side out and you'll need to invent a new relative from Kazakhstan. Send me one or don't. Either way I'm fine with it. After a year and a half it's completely up to you. My dull knife awaits.

Dark side? No sir. We are just terribly dismayed that you have had such a painful experience. We realize that it should have been handled much sooner by someone so that you would not have to live with this terrible burden on your soul for so long.

Had you responded to our PM from two months ago asking you what the problem is then we could have taken care of it then. Specifically this http://forums.azbilliards.com/showpost.php?p=3616704&postcount=26 We also asked you publicly at the same time to tell us the problem. We could have saved you several months more of grief. We did not receive a pm from you at that time but we did send you two pms asking what the problem was, both of which remain unanswered.

We really don't like to think of any customers being unhappy with products we design even if we didn't actually produce the product. We are certain that Jonny Ives at Apple has similar pangs when a product he designed has some problem that he personally had nothing to do with.

And that you feel so much pain as to make a point to mock us in this thread about a person celebrating their wonderful Justis case is even more distressing. We feel simply awful that you feel compelled to insert your bitterness into a thread about Mr. Justis' work to needle us about an issue we tried two months ago to resolve with you.

We hope that you can turn this into a positive and sell that case causing you so much heartache. We predict that you won't need to trade 12 JB Cases for a Justis. Even though yours is used we think that you can sell it for a couple hundred dollars and then add on the price of about one more basic JB Case and get the Justis you covet.

We would offer to build you a new case and take the offending one off your hands but you have already made it clear that you have no desire to own a JB Case. Even though we didn't build the one you have we would have probably offered to ease your tremendous pain. But it would be a waste to torture you with one of our cases.

Don't forget the $50 voucher though. When you order a Jack Justis case with your name on it we will pay $50 towards the name.

Sorry I got no PM's. Not sure what you’re referring to. Unfortunately sell the case and giving my wife half my net worth is not a price I'm willing to pay. Back to our usual programming...nice Jack J case.

Ahh, well then it is good that she doesn't read AZ Billiards and see how little you think of her gift that you would trade 12 of them for a Justis.

As for the pms my we remind you that you said you would send one to us. As well our contact information is easy to find. We did make a public effort to resolve your problem 2 months ago sir. Still far too late as it turns out but in fairness when you mentioned it two months ago we really had no idea what you were talking about.

Now we will send you the strap and at least then our part will be done. Have a nice morning.

You can't appreciate one until you own it. Problem is it doesn't make you a better player and it is almost a shame to have one and not play good enough to be a worthy owner.

.

I need another case like a snail needs air brakes. I'm getting ready to buy another JJ only because I want one. Aside from being a great case they sure are sharp looking. Function and style matter.
A person does not have to be a world class pool player to own a Jack Justis case. I'm not...that's for sure....and I just ordered my second case today.

I have to give credit where credit is due. I recieved this case approximately a month ago from Mr. Jack Justis and love it. I have been a member for a while but have never posted until now. So here it goes for my first post.

Looks almost exactly like my Jack Justis case. Mine is from 2006 and needs some touching up on the silver and gold lines though.

Don't mind me asking, what's the main difference between a JJ and JB case?

Protection. JB Cases offer vastly superior protection.

One is made in the USA and the other in China

Half right. Justis interiors, the actual case part of a case, are made in China. Add to that Jack went to China to make a partnership with a large maker of cases there to make and distribute a fully China-made version of a Justis case called a "Justis West".

JJ Doesn't publicly slam the products of his competition...JB has. That had a LOT to do with my purchase of a JJ case...that, and I do like to buy made in the USA when I can.

Completely wrong. Jack has said publicly that our interiors WILL harm cues. He has slammed our quality, he has lied about my business and lied about my relationships with others in this business.

Your Justis is 50% made in the USA. It has a Chinese made interior and was delivered to you in a Chinese made embroidered cloth bag. Because you know it's impossible to get embroidered bags, extrusion tubes, and cloth to line the interiors in the USA.....

Would like to ask, if let's say I have a cue tip protector on and I store my cue shaft tip down 1st, would the cue tip protector get stuck at the bottom? I'm currently using a silicone hose cap.

No worries about whether its made in USA or made in China for me. Some people in Singapore have purchased JB Cases before and 1 of them so happen is a friend of mine, I've seen the case and would say its really top notch quality for the price he's paying. I have never seen a JJ case so I can't comment on that.

I believe what all of us are looking out for is the quality of the product and the money we're paying for it whether its worth it.

It depends on the case. If the interior is fixed then it's possible the cap could get stuck. If it's one of our removable interiors which are currently being made on just about every leather tube case we sell the interior can be easily removed and thus the part easily accessed.

I would generally say though that even in a fixed interior the part could be probably be removed.

If anyone you know has this problem and would like some help have them contact me. The use of tip protectors is highly uncommon but I do have experience helping people removing unwanted foreign objects from their cases.

That has everything to do with me being a JJ customer. And nice Hijack JB.

Way to bring back a year old thread. The hijack was Nick Beratanos taking a cheap shot at us.

Jack and I have made up so I won't address the other comments made in error by others that you agreed with.

At least jb offered. ... Jack talked down to me and made every excuse he could think of not to take care of me.

So let me get this straight...

1. I recieved a knock of of a knock off from your retailer?
2. It's not your case but you'll send me a new clasp?
3. Why not send me a new starp?

If you send me a new starp I promise to take a video using the dullest butter knife I can find and post it here claiming the box was empty, thus generating the second funniest thread in AZ history.

"Mike",
What times zone do you operate in Canada? Curious based on the time of your response? No sale. Nobody is that stupid John.

I'm off to my jeweler to confirm my Omega is real. When I bought it I felt like James Bond. Maybe in reality I'm Mr. Bean.
