Hey guys. I'm very new to the forum as you can see. I figured what better way to say "hey" than a few pics of my cue that's being made!

The forearm is curly maple with four cocobolo and holly forearm points. Cocobolo and brass rings at ABCD and E. Buttsleeve is also curly maple with four cocobolo and holly diamonds. The joint and buttcap are holly. I'll have a brown leather wrap, and an OB-2 shaft with matching ringwork. The 3/8x10 pin and Jacoby logo will also be gold. Can't wait for its completion! :D

For some reason my photos linked to Webshots are only showing up 1/4 of the time. Click here for the pics!

Interesting to see Dave working in the shop...

Haha...yeah I don't think that happens often. I think he posed for the picture lol.

Looking very nice, funny its kind of simple yet very attractive.

That's exactly what I was going for! I wanted to do something very classy looking that wasn't very busy. Nothing should take away from the natural beauty of the cues wood, and in my opinion some of these cues start being only about the amount of inlays or veneers a cue has. I wanted to keep it very uniform throughout the cue by using only a few types of wood and I think Dave and I achieved that while drawing up the order.

I love my Jacoby, and the experience working with Dave and his family was great! We are still good friends. They are awesome people!
