my lessions

i just made a long post in a thread about getting lessions from a pro, best thing i ever did, its frustrating because when I do what he wants me to do right I feel something I have never felt before, but man changing such a subtle thing is ALOT of work, Tiger Woods had to change his swing a while back because of an injury. and let me tell you it aint easy, i got to put in the work, but when I do execute it wow its great beyond words, but for a while I'll be playing a bit worse until the adjustment is natural. I feel like a C player again, LOL I'm gonna wear out some rails and not pockets for a while.

I wish I would have got lessions from day one. I dont know what I was thinking.

Fatboy, I went through the same thing recently. The thing that I found most useful was just setting up my new stance over the line between the bumper and the rail. Take a couple of strokes and reset. Over and over again. It really made a difference. Instead of worrying about shooting and missing I was worried about setting myself up properly. Then when you get back to actually shooting, your stance feels a bit more natural. Give it a try.

my stance is spot on, the main thing i need to do is put a slight hesitation on the final backstroke before i fire the shot, easier said than done.i line up just fine etc, i just repeting what my instructor said, i have alot of ecperience and worked on all that before i just left a few things out along the way, i'll be a solid A player in a year, i'm gonna need some action at some point, not yet the betting window is closed, i want tough action, i aint gonna give a dime away but i'm not going to go nut hunting like i did when i was broke.

I'm not even going to attempt to answer this, until I'm sure what you mean.
Did you mean that you're getting 'lesions' from a Pro or 'lessons' from him ?

Doug
( there IS a big difference :-)
