My Little Sailor Collection

My little collection of sailor cues. I bought my first through a seller on AZB around 7-8 years back. Just got the other (with the off white butt cap) this week, again from an AZB seller. I think 14.1 is a great game, so to own some cues made by such a great ambassador almost feels like a privilege. Best part: while rare, and not always easy to find someone willing to part with them, they’re usually very affordable for custom cues. Hoping to add one or two more to my collection, preferable cues fancier than these. Already in discussion for someone on a fancier one.

Left to right:
“Hug’r” cue. House cue conversion(?), fairly plain. One original shaft (says “made for Hug’r”). Second shaft is OB cf shaft. This one with the cf shaft will be my league setup this coming session
“Fancy” conversion cue. One original shaft. One extra shaft, not sure of origin. Slightly shorter than original shaft.
Spain blank. One original shaft. A beauty in person.

Frank did not need a fancy cue nor did he think much of them. He was a grumpy sweet old guy. Nice collection and sentiment too.

Glad to see the Spain Sailor I sold you has found a great home. I only seen 2 Sailors that I wanted to own,,, and that was 1 of them..... good to see it and good luck of future Sailor purchases.
