My Murray Tucker Cue

Greetings everyone. I'm new to this forum.

Here is my gorgeous Murray Tucker custom cue. I won this cue thru a raffle on RSB/ASP. I had the option of choosing from a number of fine cuemakers each of whom had agreed to make a cue for the winner. Once I saw Murray's design I knew that it was the cue for me.

The cue ebony is sixteen points (amboyna burl and bubinga), set off with white and blue veeners, abalone diamonds, 5 custom rings set off with brass rings, black leather wrap, 2 shafts w/ ivory ferrules. The joint is a wood piloted Radial with titanium pin. The hit is as sweet as can be.

It's my regular playing cue, and no it is not, and will not ever be, (unless I'm dead) for sale. :)

Send it over :p

That is, if Mr. Tucker doesn't mind :D
Hmmmm, lemme consider the request.
The cue is sick btw. Black with those veneers.
Fats, you better lock your doors and windows.

Well, while you are considering, consider this:
I'm in the process of getting a quote on some very hard round stuff (with a hole in it) that should withstand many years of abuse.
And no, not collar material, the other thing.
I might just forward it to you when i get it.
Last time i got a quote from these people, it was almost half what you were quoted. :D :D :D

Hi Fats,
I know what that cue looks like. Like Joey, I have pictures of that cue in the process of being made somewhere in my CD-ROM collection.. :D

Can you give me the contact numbers for your next of kin? So I know who to contact to purchase that cue in future.. :p

Sorry about the broken links, I edited the original post and hopefully they should be working now. :)
Those blue veneers are HOT. And the points are so sharp, probably cut right through the table your playing on!!! Thanks for sharing! Is it Murray Tucker or Master Tucker??? ;P

Master Tucker for sure...

Those are some sharp ass veneer work, as far as I can tell everything lines up to a T.
Is that a Boarskin or Pigskin wrap?

That cue is drop dead gorgeus ! I remember the time when it was being raffled among rsb frequents. I was writing quite a few posts to rsb back then before everything went awry in there. I hesistated over sending my raffle entry fee and missed my chance of owning a Murray Tucker masterpiece. Waaaahhh... sob, snif... !!! :(

The cue looks great. You should be very glad to own a cue that nice. Murray certainly executed a sharp design there.

Nice looking cue, Murray does great work. I feel the same way about my Tucker, it'll never be for sale. Actually it came with that proviso from Murray. If I ever need the money, he has first dibs on it.
Of course, my Webbs would never be for sale either, or my Scruggs, or my Madison Bob, or even my McDermott (McWebb because Mike's done so much work on it). I did sell a Blackheart once, but that was to a relative.

Have fun with the Tucker.

Thanks Chris. I certainly am glad, and I take care of it like it's my baby.
