After some serious thought, I've decided to post a pic of my new 6-point Black Boar.

For those that might not know, I recently acquired this cue down in southern Virginia, by way of some help from a fellow AZB member. After getting the cue in hand, I quickly headed up to Tony's shop....and he worked some magic on it that just MUST be seen to believe!!!

Take a look. Can it get any better than this??!!?? :D :D :D

And........."yes." Real-deal pics will be posted later.....but only after some information comes out about it from Tony's shop directly!!!

In the mean time, here are some pics of the cue from the day I bought it in April.

I'll post the "New Cue" pics in this thread, once the dust has settled a bit!! ;)

Me thinks you're gonna approve, Myron. You GOTTA see this cue up close and personal. I'll bring it up to Sterling one of these weekends (hopefully soon!!!).

What's up, bro?? The over/under?? Could be interesting.

Suffice to say.....this one would run a small fortune to pry out of my hands.........and equally for the actual value of the cue, but also the pain, agony, and extremes I went through to get it.

This is about as sentimental as a cue gets.......for me, anyway.

Nope....not time to flip it, boss!! :) ;)

Tony was right....the cue came out absolutely stunning!! I've seen my fair share of older 6-pointers.....and he really outdid himself on this one. Classy, gorgeous, and perfect. That about sums it up.

I'm DYING to show it off......but have to wait just a weeeeeeeeee bit more.

Keep me posted on your FS-4, Tom.

No worries, ma'am.

I've got my finger on the picture trigger....but have a ton of control (no.....REALLY!!!!), and will hold off until all is well and right with the info coming out. ;) :)

Hiya Guy,

Something new??......might as well be!! :) :)

Not meaning to be all cryptic and such about it (well, maybe a little...)....but info is coming out on my cue, directly from Tony and the Black Boar shop.......so I want to wait until both the pics and write-up are done before I put 'em up.

There's a pretty great story behind my cue, and I really want to share it with all the cue nuts (like myself) here on AZB.
 
i really like BB cues, i love the ring work on this cue, the points dont thrill me-but thats just me, only an opinion, perhaps its the pictures, i dont dislike them but they dont move me like most other BB cues do, Tony is a cool guy I never met him but I read the entire website a couple of times, someday I'll own one, I would like to play with one sometime,

I remember in about 93 a guy who lived in vegas in the winters and somewhere else in the summer came to the pool room once and said this cue is the future, i had to leave but I did lok at it-thinking the name was strange, thats the only reason i remember this, anyways i moved to LA and never saw him or the cue again, he was right. good stuff
