drove down into Owensboro today, and purchased my first Chad Carter Custom Cue. pics are attached. always a pleasure to deal with this man, just wish i could get him to move across the river into Indiana so i wouldnt have to drive across that bridge over the Ohio River though

i believe he said (forgive me if i am in error) this is birdseye with cocobolo, balabushka style rings, ivory joint and ferrule, linen wrap, 18.8 oz, 14" pro taper, 12.8mm, joint protector, two shafts - one with an Everest tip, and the other a Sniper tip.

so far tonight i played about 3 hours with it, ran several racks, and messed up several also. and nope, i didnt throw it through the wall, either.

this cue is a beauty! you posters out there that are looking for a great playing cue should consider checking Mr. Carter out down there in Owensboro, KY - also the hometown of Nick Varner.

regards,
DCP

does this man have a website? I am in no means looking to buy a cue any time soon ( i'm actually looking to buy a pool table) but I would like to check out out his work. soo, if you could drop that here, or in a PM that would be awesome!

I just bought a Chad Carter from a guy on eBay. Carter Cue on eBay It should be here next week. I don't know much about him, but a friend of mine in Nashaville bought one and loved it. When this one came up on eBay for a price I couldn't refuse I had to get it.

Do you know how long he's been making cues? How many he makes a year?

Jim

i dont believe Chad has a website, at least not to my knowledge. not sure how many he makes a year, or how long he's been in the hobby either? send me a PM and i can give you his email address if you want to contact him directly.
