drove down into Owensboro today, and purchased my first Chad Carter Custom Cue. pics are attached. always a pleasure to deal with this man, just wish i could get him to move across the river into Indiana so i wouldnt have to drive across that bridge over the Ohio River though
i believe he said (forgive me if i am in error) this is birdseye with cocobolo, balabushka style rings, ivory joint and ferrule, linen wrap, 18.8 oz, 14" pro taper, 12.8mm, joint protector, two shafts - one with an Everest tip, and the other a Sniper tip.
so far tonight i played about 3 hours with it, ran several racks, and messed up several also. and nope, i didnt throw it through the wall, either.
this cue is a beauty! you posters out there that are looking for a great playing cue should consider checking Mr. Carter out down there in Owensboro, KY - also the hometown of Nick Varner.
regards,
DCP
