what you can't see?

Zamboni burl does hide cracks . Had a customer who bought his own woods. like 70 bucks for a cracked piece. Your piece looks good - where'd you get it. Mississippi, Expo . It is such an unstable wood. Mine was cored 4 ivory pts/ambonya butt ,joint protectors- and when the wind blew different it rolled different ,was faced etc. It was the best playing bar cue. had the 85 yr old bowling- alley-wood shafts. used bk H tips on the ivory ferrules. who's the maker? Shaftwood ,tip and ferrule choices make the cue mark

That's a nice start to a happy ending. I bet you can't wait...lol

I'll save the congrats until a later date.

Thanks for the kind words . Bob Danielson from Washington is building my new cue. I will post pictures during the creation of this cue.

Nice woods ! and the building of the cue from bob will be satisfying !

i have my first custom made by bob and i'm blown away with feel/balance/feedback... amazing how he builds these things !
The only thing i adjusted within 3 weeks or so was the tip, i asked bob a kamui black ss and got exactly what i asked for, it was a clear version, this went rock hard. I changed it to an ultraskin pro tip, and i ain't changing back to kamui ...

Good luck with your cue !

i have a plain cocobolo cue now and i want more in a cue so i asked bob to make me sometihng else ... I know is going to be a monster .. Bob is very underrated and ss360 shafts is the best ld shaft i have ever played with. If you want a great playing contact Bob . on pm me to your next custom cue ...

This piece of Amboyna is kiln dried and been sitting about 3 years. The curly Maple has been around for over 25 years. All will go on a full length 6-pie Purpleheart core.
