Hi guys, I bought this like new Helmstetter 87-9 with Ostrich “it’s George” case. Can’t wait to get to a Pool Hall and test it out. What’s your thoughts on these Helmstetter cues - I am a big fan, certainly seem underrated from a collector prospective.

Good cues with some collectors trying to find the higher end VIP's and Lim.Ed's. All were made in the ADAM factory in Japan. This link has a pic of the LE's from '88-'89 :http://www.billiardsforum.com/pool-...y-1988-helmstetter-cue-series-model-and-value

Certainly well made cues - ADAM factory in Japan is legendary. @garczar Those Limited Edition Helmstetter cues look lovely. If one comes up for sale, I would be interested.

I've played with a 87-14 for most of my life. Bought new in the late 80's. I also own three other Helmstetters. They play great. Good find.

Thanks guys, I had some action at my local Pool Hall yesterday, I am very impressed with the cue, weight & balance is great. Truly well handcrafted cues. Amazing for a 35 years old.

The 87-14 is a lovely looking cue, what other Helmstetter do you own?
