My new custom Dominiak coco/radial curly

Here is the cocobolo and radial curly I promised to show off. This cue is not only beautiful as can be (pics do not show its true beauty), but it plays better than anything I've used/hit with so far. I recently sold my predator to get this. Best decision of my life. You can't get more cue for the money anywhere else.

That is an extraordinarly beautiful, yet simple cue. Love the wood combination.

Could we see some closeups of the ringwork and shaft :rolleyes: Really comfy looking taper you got on that shaft.

Play well, that cue screams to be played with a lot :smile: Oh and if you ever decide to get rid of it, please PM me :wink:
 
Hi. When I get a chance I will upload some closer shots. In the meantime, the ring work is just simple veneers that William added to prevent the oily cocobolo from ruining the finish of the handle.

Also. Thanks for the complements on the cue. I think I made a great choice going to Doniniak.

I was quite surprised with how well his cues play. And he's
a cue maker that stands behind his work.
 
I am having a Dominiak shaft made. I should get it next week. Depending on how it feels, I may try one of his cues. He seems to have a pretty good reputation!
 
Can't go wrong with a Dominiak. As I understand it, All American made, nothing done in China. The customer service and guarantee is superior and that D3 shaft - killer.
 
Apparently, he supplies a lot of the industry with maple through his sister company (if I understand correctly). It was a pleasure speaking with him. I should have my shaft this week!!
