ok, did you think you were going to read this thread about my new Jacoby Cue? well, guess again.

another example of my great luck. i sell my Pechauer off of EBay and finally get myself into a position where i can have a Jacoby made. and then what happens? i break a tooth, have to have a crown and root canal, and this is gonna cost me several hundred $dollars$ to pay what insurance doesnt cover.

when it comes to this sport/hobby, i have to be the unluckiest person ever. i was going to call Jacoby within a day or two from when i broke the tooth. do you guys realize how disappointing this is? to be on the verge of a nice, new custom cue and then an unexpected bill hits?

woe is me

Umm... I tried to find some words of consolation... but I couldn't

Damn ! I think you've been building up bad luck to even it all out on massive strike of good fortune in the near future ! Yes, it has to be the case...

That's what you get for trying to BITE one of the balls instead of just firing it through the wall as usual.

I just had a root canal and a crown 2 weeks ago. And yes...it IS expensive. (glad I already own all of the cues that I want for right now)
