I love my new Jim Murnak cue case. I had it custom made exactly the way I wanted it. It is a 2x4 and it has 4 pockets, one in which I can fit my jump cue about 13 inches long. Check it out!!

sweet case..what's the symbol you have on your case? any special meaning?

welcome to the board.

Thank you MRinsatiable. On the top it is my name Borana. The red symbol in the middle is an Eagle with two heads which is the flag of the country I was born in, Albania. I put it there because eagle with two heads means "killer" in my country, so I thought it had a cool pool meaning!!
I wanted the case to be classy and sexy and not too much color in it.

FWIW, I like yours much better. It's really not close, as a matter of fact... I'd say the case he made for you is probably the sharpest case I've ever seen.

Thanks, I told him what I wanted. I told him I want the eagle to be the center and I want Victorian carving all around and all over the case but I don't want the carving to have any color so he made it shiny black.

That is an amazingly case. This is a GREAT design that you came up with. I think I am going to have to order one now but I am not sure if I will be able to top that design.

Case

beautiful case - pretty sharp! I think that Jim's cases are probably the best overall for an 'everyday' type case. I like Justis cases too, but they seem more like a 'tuxedo' type case.

Beautiful case, Queen B! Amazing tooling.

Snapshot? I had to chuckle over this one...my usual playing dress code is jeans, comfortable shoes, and a cheap sweatshirt with sleeves cut short by scissors. I have no problem carrying my Justis 3X6 pro-lite wearing such attire.

I agree with you.

Jim Murnak Case

Fantastic carving on this case and very original.
I appreciate how you tied the case to your roots and personalized it beyond what others might appreciate.

I struggled (a lot) trying to decide what carving style to get on my Murnak case. There are a lot of options in the artistry of cue case making and leather work.

You case will further evolve the art of case making by exciting the abilities of artisans and buyers in considering not only was was possible in the past - but what new and novel abilities exist in their future.

Congratulations
!!

Thanks for the nice comments.

I particularly would like to thank B for posting the pictures of her case. Doing designs that are personal are very rewarding because I know that the person is connected to the case by more than just ownership.

Thanks to everyone else who has said so many nice things about my work.

Jim
