Jamie, I think it turned out really super. The elements that really jump out and grab me are #1 the points and also the barbells, rings, and butterflies. Throw in a Hoppe ring and you can't beat it. Guess that just means deep-down I'm a hopeless traditionalist with cues. This one is especially nice, though, because it's got a lot of old school elements with the new, too.

**P.S....I may be sending you an email soon. Need some design help with a cue project that's going on.
Thanks for all the feedback on the cue. I will try to answer the questions that were asked.
Fish: Black paper is actually high grade construction paper reinforced with epoxy to create a thin "accent" veneer". I really makes the main veneers pop. Ron Haley is a master of the paper veneer.
Dan: As far as the sharp points/veneers. Dave Kikel makes points in a very similar, if not exact, way the Ernie Gutierrez and Bill Stroud make them. They are inlaid flat bottom points and veneers.
SCCues: The cue has three v-points and three butterfly points for a total of 6.
bruin70: I tried to bring the butterfly aspect of the cue into the butt. Each design I came up with made the butt sleeve look too gaudy imo. I decided to leave well enough alone.
Sean: I would love to assist you in your cue design. I really enjoy the designing process.
And just for fun...below is the original design beside the actual pics of how the cue came out.
That is one stunning cue. I have seen most of the Kikel's that you have sold, this one is my favorite. All of them have been nice but WOW, this design is the NUTZ...
