My new MACE :).

I just picked up a MACE from Rick. I got it to match my Koa pointed cue.. You'll see pictures of that Sunday .

I went and shot with it tonight. The thing hits like a wrecking ball. And it's only got a water buffalo tip on it!

Looks great! I love my Mace and it breaks well for me all the time. Someone recommended that I replace the water buffalo tip with a phenolic tip. I'm not too sure if I should do that as I'm worried it will affect the already good break that I get from it. Don't mess with a good thing, hehehe.

It's true for me! The Water Buffalo tip has just the right hit for me. I can stop the cueball dead on the break at about 80% power and not loose the cueball. I can clear most balls with the jump handle but a phenolic tip there would be nice at times.

What is the price range of the Mace? I'm not farmiliar with them. What is the shaft like? Is it really stiff? (ie Predator, Samsara) or is is like a Meucci?

it's a decently stiff taper. mace's are 325$
