Got a cue built by a local cue maker here and just got it today.

It's a 6 alternating pointer with ebony, curly koa, and birdseye.

It hits really good.

It has a flaw though.. The female end shaft joint doesn't match up with the butt joint. I'm gonna see if he'll make me a new shaft because it's not even the right ring width or collar width.

Other than that the, cue is really nice.

nah the joint fits fine. It's just a cosmetic flaw. Once i get some batteries for my camera i'll put some pics of it up.

I have a friend that had Mike make him a cue. He paid up front for the cue, when he received the cue the points did not match up, he said you could tell he used a sharpie or something of the sort to try and make the points match up. He was so embarrassed of the cue he would never play with.
