I just wanted to show you my new Gulyassy cue. It started with an idea about a classic looking cue with razor sharp points with veneers, a Bushka ring (with lots of ivory and silver), with a Hoppe-style butt. Mike started to work, applied his "magic", and this is the result!!! Mike is an extremely nice person and knowledgeable craftsman, and very meticulous in his work. The bird's-eye maple wood was a select pick from Mike. Check out the colors in the veneers! i stressed I was used to metal joints and he accommodated this as well. I was doing a 5 hour lesson last summer with Earl Strickland at Mike's house when we first started discussing this cue. Anyway, It came out PERFECT! Thanks Mike! Eveyone that is considering getting a custom made cue built should talk to the "Cue Doctor" Mike Gulyassy! and while your there you should consider some lessons from this world class player with many accomplishments includine membership of the Mosconi Cup. Thanks Again Mike! See You At The Open! Your Pal, Davie!

PS. Mike filled me in on all of his new concepts. He Finished my new and used existing shafts with his new endeavor... All felt better than new! Mike also re-ferruled my Jump-Break Cue with his newest invention... Let me tell you, My Jump Break never felt this good after Mike's Work! Please support Mike and people who truly support the game, without these people... We have nothing at all!

Very nice cue!

I have actually been looking at getting one of Mike's new jump/break cues. Seeing his work on your cue has pretty much made me decide once I have the money to order Mike's new jump/break cue.

Sweet cue

Congrats on your cue. I have a Gulyassy J/B and absolutely love it. I tried and passed up several other known J/Bs.

Great looking cue from a first class cue maker. If I had the money, I would definitely have Mike make me another cue. I had him make me one, a plain Cocobolo cue, some years ago. I no longer have it, long story. I also had one of his very early jump/breaks and liked it a lot.

Hey Davie-
I certainly know what you mean about Mike's abilities. Mike made me a beautiful playing cue and jump/break cue and he is actually finishing up on a second playing cue for me.
I am sure you will agree that even though your cue is beautiful and I appreciate you sharing some of the pic's you attached, the real beauty will be how the cue plays.
I think that is Mike's real talent is making a cue that has such tremendous feedback from tip to the back of your hand.
He loves the game of pool, tries to support it every way he can and because of that, I will continue to support Mike.

I'm VERY picky when it comes to cues, and that one looks like a winner. I love the points. Very clean and classy.

And you can feel good about patronizing MG as he is one of the good guys out there. I've spoken with him a couple of times both before and after purchasing a Sledgehammer from him.

Good luck with your new cue, and remember, it's not really your cue until you customize it somewhere on the butt or crown with a ding!

That's a nice looking cue, and I bet it plays awesome as well. I wouldn't want to break with anything else than my Gulyassy, and I have recently ordered a custom ebony/ambonia sneaky pete from Mike as well. I look forward to receiving my new player in a couple of months
