My New Project!

We recently aquired a Brunswick Anniversary 8 ft. Table. Gonna take awhile to restore this one, So I decided to snap pics thru the process. Not only for my own records, but to share it with others. I hope you check my page out from time to time as I will be posting the pictures as I go. Right now I have posted what pictures I have so far, just to show what I get to start with. These tables are one of my favorites, because they don't mak'em like they use to...........as the saying goes. You can get to the Resto page by clicking my name below. Thank you and I hope someone enjoys it, LOL!

PTM,

Looks like you got your work cut out for you! I have a feeling you're going to do a great job though! Can't wait to see it when you're done! Good luck!!

JC,

Nice looking table!!

Thank you Rick. I am going to completely refurbish this one. The more I work on it the sweeter it turns out to be. The ends of the frame still have the tape covering the # stamps.......from when they sprayed the paint on the piece. The frame is perfect shape.....just the rails and skirts need work.

It looks like a lot of work but I'm sure you'll really appreciate it when it's finished. You're going to have one hulluva table when it's done!!

Man that would be fun. One of these days I hope to find a classic Brunswick 9-foot in restorable shape and bring it back to original, only tighter pockets. =)

It is nice when you can do something you enjoy, And it really isn't work when your having fun is it? lol This combines 2 of my favorite things...woodworking and tables. I plan on tightening the pockets up when we put new rubber on. And might not make it exactlly original, because they came with the corner castings and leg bands painted in an off white. Not sure that is what I want. I still have awhile to decide though.

Here are the two pieces of the skirting that go on the end with the ball tray. One preped and stained once, the other just preped and ready for stain.
